Lowcountry Digital Equity Coalition to Host Live Podcast

Digital Navigators from the LDEC will join with Geno Jones to host a live podcast at the St. George Library to spread the word about the need for broadband access for rural areas of the Lowcountry.

Computer Donation Project Underway

The LDEC is partnering with Palmetto Goodwill to collect and refurbish 2,000 laptops for Title One school students in the tri-county region.  The goal is to have the laptops ready for distribution in the fall of 2024. Learn more about this program here.

Nearly 35,000 tri-county households will no longer receive a federal discount on their internet bills starting this month.
